Lillian Osei-Boateng serves as the Program Associate for the Arts at the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation (DDCF) in New York, NY. In that capacity, she assists with the supervision of a $13 million grants program focused on organizations and artists in the theatre, contemporary dance, jazz and presenting fields. She joined the foundation in December of 2005.
Prior to working at DDCF she was the Program Assistant at Fractured Atlas, an arts organization that provides services, resources, and support to independent artists and arts organizations to help them better focus on their creative responsibilities. She has also worked in advertising, writing and editing for dance and theatre magazines. She holds a B.F.A. from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, Drama Department with a minor in journalism. For over five years she served on the New York Advisory Board for City at Peace, a nonprofit organization dedicated to using the arts to teach young people conflict resolution and leadership skills.
She is currently working towards a Masters of Public Administration at Baruch College.
