Doris Duke Charitable Foundation

The following seven national arts organizations were selected in 2011 to receive core support grants from DDCF totaling $1.750 million:

2011 Grants

Association of Performing Arts Presenters (Washington, DC)

• $350,000 over 2 years – To provide general operating support and support to build cash reserves.

Chamber Music America (New York, NY)

• $150,000 over 2 years – To support organizational costs associated with programs and services for the jazz field and to support the building of a cash reserve. 

Creative Capital Foundation (New York, NY)

• $200,000 over 2 years – To support organizational costs associated with programs and services for the dance, jazz, presenting and theatre fields. 

Dance/USA (Washington, DC)

• $150,000 over 2 years – To provide general operating support and support to build cash reserves. 

National Performance Network (New Orleans, LA)

• $150,000 over 2 years – To provide general operating support for this national network of performing arts presenters. 

Nonprofit Finance Fund (New York, NY)

• $250,000 over 2 years – To support organizational costs associated with programs and services for the dance, jazz, presenting and theatre fields. 

Theatre Communications Group (New York, NY) 

• $500,000 over 2 years – To provide general operating support and support to build cash reserves.

• $1.12 million over 4 years – To provide general operating support and support to build cash reserves for this national service organization for the presenting field.

• $400,000 over 4 years – To support organizational costs associated with programs and services for the jazz field.

• $330,000 over 3 years – To support organizational costs associated with programs and services for the dance, jazz, presenting and theatre fields.

• $500,000 over 4 years – To provide general operating support and support to build cash reserves for this national service organization for the dance field.

• $145,000 over 4 years – To support organizational costs associated with programs and services for the dance, jazz, presenting and theatre fields, and to build cash reserves.

National Performance Network (New Orleans, LA)

• $350,000 over 4 years – To provide general operating support for this national network of performing arts presenters.
