In planning and administering its programs, the DDCF relies on input from leading medical researchers and health experts.
A Scientific Advisory Council provides general advice and guidance to the foundation staff for the clinical research programs.
The African Health Advisory Council and the Technical Advisory Group provide advice and guidance to the foundation staff on the African Health Initiative.
In addition, Peer Review Panels are convened for different award competitions.
