The curriculum offered to fellows consists of courses from Masters in Clinical Research (MSCR) and Masters in Public Health (MPH) programs. The Program Leaders recommend the courses that will provide a foundation in fundamental skills that are required to successfully carry out rigorous clinical research studies. During August, course selection is discussed with the group by the program directors. Dr. Janice Gabrilove, director of the Clinical Research Education Program, meets with the fellows to answer their questions. All courses must be taken for credit and students receive an official graduate school transcript. Suggested courses are Spectrum of Methods in Clinical Research, Introduction to Biostatistics, and Multivariable Analysis. However, fellows who have already taken similar courses may choose other more specialized courses that are relevant to their projects. The complete curriculum guide is available here. Fellows are exempt from tuition charges as part of the school's institutional commitment to the program.
