FALL and SPRING SEMESTERS
- PICRT Research Seminar (No credit):
Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellows will join the TL1 Predoctoral Program Trainees for joint seminars two times each month for two hours. An important learning experience in research is the presentation and critical discussion of research ideas and projects at various points in their evolution. Seminars will alternate discussion of work in progress with critical reading of current clinical research in order to practice and enhance analysis and communication skills. This small group, intensive discussion of research issues is a valuable aspect of the program, allowing scholars to learn in an active and participatory fashion. Fellows are also required to attend monthly Career Development Seminars with the Clinical Research Training Center’s Postdoctoral and KL2 Career Development Scholars.
